About the products:

  • Vani-T Liquid Sun is the world’s first 100% organic spray tan.  Vani-T Liquid Sun is available in Medium and Dark shades and is 99% petrochemical free.  I also now stock Vani-T Liquid Sun Velocity – shower after one hour for a light tan, two hours for medium, and three hours for a dark tan!
  • Naked Tan is another brilliant Australian product that you can shower off after just 2 hours, leaving you comfortable while your tan develops.  Naked Tan comes in natural (medium) and tanned (dark) shades.
  • St Tropez is a world famous brand of spray tan used by celebrities worldwide.

Preparation:

Preparing the perfect canvas for your tan.

  1. Exfoliate thoroughly – get in and scrub scrub and scrub some more – concentrate on your knees, ankles, elbows and feet.  I stock Vani-T’s exfoliating towel which is excellent for scrubbing old tan off.
  2. Dry your skin well – nice dry skin will soak up that tan even better.
  3. Don’t put anything on your skin – this means no deodorant, moisturiser, makeup or perfume.
  4. Wear something nice and loose to put on after your tan.  In winter you might prefer snuggly pjs or a tracksuit (loose) or in summer, a light and loose caftan or summer dress is perfect.
  5. Underwear wise, this is up to you.  Please note that I do not supply disposable underwear. Whatever you do wear will be white underneath – ie. a g-string tanline if you wear a g-string or a brief tanline if you wear briefs.  Male clients must wear some form of underwear, this is non-negotiable.

Maintenance:

Easy steps to keep your tan looking better for longer.

  1. Moisturise, moisturise and moisturise some more!  Avoid those with Lanolin or Sodium Laurel Sulphate in them as these will strip your tan.
  2. Shower just once a day if you can – and don’t have a hot and long shower, just a quickie!
  3. No baths, spas or swimming if you can avoid it.  The wetter your skin, the easier it will rub off onto clothing (and there goes your tan too!).
  4. Use a tan boosting moisturiser every second day for maintenance, or every day to deepen your colour.  Try a yummy colour boosting moisturiser like Vani-T’s bronzing custard (available from me).
  5. Get a spray tan every 7 days to remain freshly bronzed all year round.
